Dual Shredding Plant (China)
AXO Shredders recently designed and commissioned a new shredding plant in Beijing China.
The new shredding plant consists of a duel shredding system that double shred general paper based products, rolls of material and then bale the resulting waste stream.
The system is also designed to take an additional trim feed directly into the pneumatic conveying system which is transferred directly to the baling machine.
AXO have combined the WM608-16 and WM408-08 Electric Shredding machines for the dual shredding unit. Both shredders are controlled by AXO's smoothshred technology which reduces the shock loading the shafts are subjected to during start up, and extends the life of the mechanical components in the shredder.
The entire system can be controlled from a single integrated control panel, and operates in both automatic and manual modes.
Incorporated in the design is an unwind system for paper rolls. The unwind stand has been manufactured to hold rolls of up to 700kg
The entire shredded product is pneumatically conveyed using a Dantherm Combifab extraction system and rotary separator.
The system installation was carried out by AXO engineers from the company's Thailand factory.
