M & J Bowers Enter On Site Shredding

Yeovil based M & J Bowers has become the latest Off site Shredding Company to add On Site Shredding to their business model. Having just taken delivery of an AXO 608 Mobile Shredding Truck they now offer a complete service for on and off site shredding covering the South West. The AXO 608 features a shredder capable of shredding up to 2200kgs per hour and holds 5500kgs a discharge conveyor is used for unloading. The truck also features remote engine start stop which saves fuel and time, minimising the impact on the environment.

Commenting on his decision to enter the On Site Shredding market John Bowers, Managing Director of M & J Bowers comments "We are excited to expand our services into the On Site shredding market covering the South West which is dominated by some larger companies. M & J Bowers is able to offer very high service levels and we would encourage existing users of Mobile Shredding Services to compare the service and pricing against ours. We believe that we run the fastest most efficient Mobile Shredding Truck in the South West and this allows us to be competitive. We naturally chose AXO as their shredders offer high throughput and load capacity with minimal maintenance. We did consider another shredding company but our research suggested that AXO was the company to choose.

They say the best things come in three's and Sheffield based Russell Richardson & Sons Ltd are certainly reinforcing that statement. Not only have they just relocated their head office after 9 years they have also invested ?200,000 in a full plant setup which included an AXO WM832e-16 shredder. The final piece of news is that they have become the first UK Company to order an AXO 408 7.5t Metro Mobile Shredding Truck.

Assured Security Shredding is leading the way.

It has been a busy year at Assured Security Shredding, the West London security shredding business have installed a new shredder/baler system, signed an exclusive agreement with AXO Shredders, launched franchising and have just sold the first franchise in South Wales.

The new shredding and baling system is an AXO WM608e coupled with an Anis Trend 75.75 fully automatic baler and is the 5th system where Anis Trend has been installed with an AXO Shredder since 2008. The system was designed to meet the needs of Mobile Shredding Truck offloads and also additional shredding through the AXO WM608e which shreds approximately 2 tonnes per hour depending on material.

Select Environmental Enter On-site Shredding Market

Reading based Select Environmental Services has just taken delivery of an AXO 408 Mobile Shredding Truck. The 12 tonne DAF is capable of shredding up to 1200kgs of paper per hour, and following the move to walking discharge floors is now able to hold 4500kgs of shredded paper.

The new AXO 408 Mobile features remote engine start/stop which will now be a standard fit to all AXO Mobile Shredding Trucks. This feature saves fuel and reduces the impact on the environment whilst reducing the amount of time the truck is on site collecting and shredding confidential information.

An industrial fan for instance loads up slowly as the speed increases, so the current drawn is very constant and predictable. For Gianmarco Lorenzi, owner of South Africa's successful OnSite shredding company, Cleardata, buying an AXO truck-mounted shredder was one of the best purchases he's ever made.

Paper Shredding Companies Select Affordable, Durable Kenworth T300 for Mobile Units

Fast-growing shredding services company Absolute Shreds had never used a Kenworth truck in its business. But when the Kenworth T300 was incorporated by AXO Shredders, which specializes in manufacturing customized mobile shredding systems, Absolute Shreds jumped at the offer.

Two-year-old Blue-Pencil Mobile Shredding & Recycling of Mississauga, Ont., recently bought an AXO unit, which has more than double the shredding capacity of its other truck.
