Innovative (Green Energy Efficient) Dual Shredding Plant

dual-shredding-plantAXO Shredders Dual shredding plant is an innovative and cost effective solution for high security document shredding. Utilizing our pioneering Workmate Shredder design and advanced electric motor control the dual shredding application reduces power demand and operating costs whilst delivering high performance and reliability.

AXO has combined our ever reliable Workmate 608-16 and Workmate 408-08 Electric Shredding machines for the dual shredding plant. Both shredders are controlled by AXO's Smoothshred advanced electric motor control technology. Smoothshred only draws the amount of power that is demanded by each shaft during the shredding process. The entire system is monitored via a PLC screen mounted in the control panel which supplies direct information on power usage and includes a help diagnostic screen to track ongoing maintenance schedules and records all the relevant operating data when the system is in operation.

The Dual Shredding plant can be designed to suit different feeding and collection applications. AXO's infeed conveyors can be custom made to suit each individual plant design and are easily coupled with a pneumatic collection system or via our premium baler range. AXO can also offer our unique reel feeding application whereby two types of shredding can be processed at one time. The hopper above the shredder not only incorporates our Anti Paper Bridging application but also can include a pinch roller to automatically infeed a paper reel into the shredder.

Whatever your requirements are, AXO can provide a one stop plant package.

Are all shredding machines the same?
