Shredonsite Add to Fleet
Chertsey based company, Shred-on-Site, have recently taken delivery of another AXO WM608 Mobile Shredding Truck. Their fleet now consists of three AXO trucks and Shred- on-Site have grown to this size in just two and a half years. Director Adam Chandler commented. We have progressed to a point where another truck was not only good future planning, but a necessity to keep on top of the new business and enquiry coming in.
The AXO WM608 shredding machines shred at a rate of 2000 Kg per hour and receiving a third AXO machine, boasting a 6000Kg payload, adds significant capacity to the busy Shred-on-Site fleet . It was an obvious choice, we know the machine well, we rely on our other two AXO machines everyday and this fact adds weight to our decision to continue adding AXO's to our fleet. This AXO brings with it some innovative enhancements for 2009 such as remote engine Start / Stop and in-cab unloading and allowing a saving in fuel costs and non-revenue generating time.
Going against trends of slowing and downsizing, Shred-on-Site are now covering a large part of the M4 corridor and London with their service, indeed they look set to continue their strong growth and provide secure on-site destruction to more businesses in the region.
Recent Plant Installation in China
AXO Shredders recently designed and commissioned a new shredding plant in Beijing China. The new shredding plant consists of a duel shredding system that double shred general paper based products, rolls of material and then bale the resulting waste stream.
The system is also designed to take an additional trim feed directly into the pneumatic conveying system which is transferred directly to the baling machine.
AXO have combined the WM608-16 & WM408-08 Electric Shredding machines for the dual shredding unit. Both shredders are controlled by AXO's smoothshred technology which reduces the shock loading the shafts are subjected to during start up, and extends the life of the mechanical components in the shredder.
The entire system can be controlled from a single integrated control panel, and operates in both automatic and manual modes.
Incorporated in the design is an unwind system for paper rolls. The unwind stand has been manufactured to hold rolls of up to 700kg
The entire shredded product is pneumatically conveyed using a Dantherm Combifab extraction system & rotary separator.
The system installation was carried out by AXO engineers from the company's Thailand factory.
