Storage firm chooses AXO
AXO Shredders recently won the order for a complete destruction plant for a storage company servicing the Benelux area.
The plant, which features several of AXO's electric drive shredding machines, was designed to the specific requirements of the customer. The system enables a wide variety of waste product from the large storage centre to be shredded.
Key to winning the business was the high throughput of the AXO electric drive shredding machines, combined with the ability to fall within power supply restrictions and the proven backup service to machinery installations on the continent.
The AXO 1020 model is capable of shredding over 8 tons of waste office paper per hour, and like all AXO electric drive shredding machines features AXO SmoothShred® Electric Current Control Technology that manages the current to the machine and significantly reduces the incidence and magnitude of high current draw.
Because of AXO's SmoothShred® Technology, AXO electric drive shredding machines can often be installed where other makes would require a power supply upgrade.
In addition to the 1020 model, two AXO 432 model electric drive shredding machines allow shredding to a variety of final cut sizes with the push of a button.
The control system was designed by AXO Shredders, with the system installation carried out by AXO engineers from the company's UK branch office.
